A qualified professional with a personal story

I am a calm yet strong, creative, empathic person. A devoted mother with an appetite for adventure and enlightenment, I'm also proudly queer and neurodiverse!

I have experienced my own personal journey to empowerment having overcome complex trauma, social disadvantage and chronic illness, yet I live a life full of joy, beauty and achievement - and you can too.

I am an experienced counsellor, counselling supervisor, and trainer specialising in trauma, GSRD & neurodiversity. I have a busy private practice most of which is focussed on offering high quality supervision to new and experienced counsellors. My work is my passion and I live and breathe it.

I truly believe that no matter what you are going through, given the tools and support you can create lasting change in a way that honours your needs and reclaim your life.

A Bit About My Practice

I am trained and experienced in a range of psychological methods and understand the science of the brain/body connection. I believe that understanding our conditioning and fear responses coupled with reconnecting with our bodies and processing emotions effectively can be life changing, and I am honoured to have been a part of that journey for many clients.

I understand that before any of the theoretical models can be utilised there must first be a safe space, a mutual respect and a commitment to your therapy goals. Whatever your needs I am empathic, skilled and here to honour working in whichever way leaves you feeling heard, understood and empowered. I am experienced working with issues such as trauma, identity, anxiety, depression, family issues, relationship diversity, low self esteem, GSRD struggles and more. I am kink aware and sex positive.

As an integrative therapist I use a wide range of frameworks including CBT, mindfulness, psychodynamics, IFS, systemic, attachment theory and more.

I am also a qualified counselling supervisor and have a passion for helping budding therapists. As a supervisor I aim to help you feel seen and supported in order to expand your capacity for holding space for clients. I can work in a way that best encourages expansion of yourself and your practice and offer practical resources and direction if required.
